You dont need to adresse anything in M580 or even in vijeo designer just names are enought and the software does its job

topologie

if u add module u choose topologie

1. u can adresse dicret like %i0.1.2
   0 : n°rack
   1:possition sur rack
   2:channel n°

you can see what adresse are available by.

1. double clicking module or cpu(if u want to see variables of cpu)
2. then click or the name of the module above voie 0
3. then Objects d'E/S
4. then cocher la caise %i or %iw or ... th at ur modules support
5. then mettre a jour grille
6. if u wanna add variable click on the adresse then choose prefix pour nom and create

DDT d'equipement

its better if u know how to use it

1. you find name in ddt equipement already there but you cant give adresse
   you dont give adresse you just do alias insted and link it
   another way is to create program ladder or any language than make it like
   capteur := BMXDDI1602_1.CH0;

2. analog value
3. forced value
